Qualities of a Caregiver

-Must be 18 years or older

-High school diploma (preferred)

-Valid driver’s license and liability auto insurance coverage

-Have a professional and friendly attitude

Core Job Duties

-Build rapport with clients, engaging in conversation and providing companionship

-Assist clients with their prescribed health plan

-Assist with non-medical hygiene and personal care needs

-Monitor and report changes in physical and mental health behavior

-Ensure the client’s home is organized and safety measures are in place

-Provide emotional support and encouragement

-Assist with mobility needs

-Provide client with transportation
